PROPS
The props chosen to be used throughout the production of the music video and its complementing pictures are already owned by either me or the chosen model. They consist of clothing pieces and accessories that represent the chosen style for the protagonist.
As you will be able to observe, the color scheme will be centred around different tonalities of red. This decision is based around its significance and various connotations, as the main ones representing indicators of passion, courage and danger. As well as functioning as a visual stimulus for the audience's attention.
LIGHT RED

joy sexuality love
passion sensitivity
DARK RED

vigor willpower rage anger leadership courage

REDDISH BROWN
OVERSIZED SWEATER
I decided for the model to have more of a casual street style in order to fit in with the context of the underground music scene, rather than the mainstream one, known for it's higher fashion style.
Aditionally these specific pieces also represent subliminally the trends common to the youth nowadays and the social class in order to create a feeling of belonging for the audience.
BOLD RED LIPSTICK
NIKE AIRMAX '97
CHICAGO BULL MEN HOODIE
CIGARETTES
TRACKSUIT TROUSERS
HOOP EARRINGS
When having in mind the clothing itself it was chosen with the purpose to characterize the female character as more of a tom-boy which could also suggest a careless attitute.

On the other hand the makeup will be from a general perspective rather minimal, I decided for the model to wear a red lipstick (although just with one of the outfits) in order to attract the audiences attention to her face and create a more balanced color scheme when taking into account the difference in colors between the locations.
The use of cigarettes will be based around the lyrics of the song,
specifically when the singer says
"I can't, I can't, I can't sleep/breathe"
in order to connote the necessity the majority of today's youth has with certain trends such as smoking and in the ways keeping up with appearance can become their/our priority without realising the negative consequences these may have. Although this isn't necessarily what the singer tried to emit through those lyrics I decided to reflect my own understanding and perception of her media text.
