STORYBOARD
I created a storyboard for the main and visually representable shots I would like to film, based on the script, but I didn't represent each single shot and the video at its integrity. This is mostly because of the wide variety of abstract visual shots, which appearance I cannot predict, and the complexity of certain ones with the protagonist as a main focus. Also because of the flexible framework I am planning on working with. I do not want to limit myself based on a storyboard, especially since I already have a script which I believe functions perfectly as a guide for my work.
I decided to draw the storyboard using a whiteboard rather than an online software because I found it more effective in relation to how easier it is to represent my ideas.
As noticeable i opted to do it in red rather than black or using various colours. This was done in order to represent what I decided will be the main color motif, RED, based on its connotations which I explained in my PROPS post/page.
Below you will be able to find the animatics created with this storyboard, although they do not represent and show all the ideas and shots for the music video. I did not include the special effects or composition technique it will have. I decided to do one and present it anyways in order to give a general visual and sound idea upon the style it will follow.
