Nudity & Perspective
Our first photoshoot went surprisingly well. Our model Vivienne Hermann, arrived on time at the rented location and was very collaborative and understood our ideas and expectations regarding the photographs.

When taking into account the technical part of the shoot we were provided with a professional lighting kit.
Which included an umbrella lighting kit.

As well as soft box one which we unfortunately did not manage to use properly given the lack of expertise.
In terms of location we were satisfied with the choice when having in mind the different colours are props found which gave us the opportunity to have different varieties of background which contributed to our choice of diverse outfits with the same model.

Additionally, this variety helped us have 3 photoshoots in 1, which helped us decide that it will be featured in the double spread and possibly cover of the magazine.
Cameras used
Elisa - Fujifilm x-pro 2
Chiara - Canon 80D
-Gopro Hero 4
We took around 1.300 pictures in total including backstage images and videos.
Taking into account the final selection which will make it to the magazine
(for the cover and double spread) we have not made up our minds yet, were indecisive over which image fits best what we are trying to transmit as well as taking into account the way they they will be displayed.
We are in the process of making a general backstage video of the photoshoot including comments from the model and photographers
(which in this case we were).

EDITING
Editing the pictures was probably the hardest part of the photoshoot task, for me. This was mainly because its is the first time I properly tried to use in an
in-depth extent all the tools necessary provided by the editing softwares and applications (Photoshop,Lightroom) in order to maximise the potential of the photos and according to the style and colours we wanted to transmit.

Another challenging aspect was achieving to finish and deliver the final edited pictures in time in order to after be able to decide which ones would actually be included in the cover and double-spread of the magazine.
We did not edit very single photograph taken, given that not all fit the category, style and message we wanted to transmit through them and some weren't good enough from a technical perspective.
This lead us to make a selection of our favourite ones as well as the most adequate ones.

We decided to divide this selection between each other by an equal amount of pictures to edit in order to manage time more efficiently, but this included only retouching the skin and necessary colour alterations. And then together make more serious changes that would impact more obviously the final appearance of the pictures.
In terms of editing, I personally made retouches to the models skin by using tools such as patching, healing brush, smoothing by blur, sharpening...
And in some necessary cases removed some objects which altered the background and composition wanted.

But we did not want to change the general appearance of the model by reducing fat or changing her silhouette in order to preserve the idea of the concept and demonstrate the idea of comfort in her own body and the way confidence highlights the models beauty.
Below you will be able to see, by clicking on them, the whole selection of pictures I previously mentioned, in their edited form, by my colleague Elisa and I. Alongsides a fast forwarded montage of videos of the editing process for most pictures.
