CONCEPT
For our first and main photoshoot we have decided to focus on the concept of
NUDITY & PERSPECTIVE, given that it has become a major topic of debate in our modern commercial society and we would like to be able to analyse, represent and contradict the various criticisms to nudity in relation to photography and beauty, and demonstrate that it does not necessarily : mean vulgarity or objectify women and men.
We would like to show the artistic perspective of it and be able to express our ideas, as well as our audiences ,through photography and show the importance of self-love and acceptance.
Which also gives us the chance to touch the various representations and expectations of beauty nowadays, which is another reason that lead us to this editorial decision.

We initially contacted her in person,given the complexity in explanation regarding the concept.
And further more communicated via text in order to establish dates and other necessary details.

She is our model choice for this respective photoshoot concept, given her characteristics which we consider beautiful and detailed and because when taking into account some aspects regarding body image expectations she does not "fit" the typical/mainstream appearance.
This helps us approach the topic chosen regarding nudity and the social construction of beauty in relation to photography, fashion and freedom of expression nowadays.

Everything was split equally between my colleague, Elisa, and I.
Additional props were already under our possession as well as contributed from our model, which
we chose given their accordance to our
concept expectations.

Location : 307 lei (68 euros)
LOCATION
We decided upon this location for our shoot given the colours and rustic but classic details it has.
Which would give the photos a special touch.
Its a central apartment in the city of Cluj-Napoca, which we found and rented through Airbn.
