CONCEPT
Initially it was complicated finding the right concept to represent the contemporary topic we wanted to show in relation to fashion.
Finally we decided upon an interview,.
An interview regarding the perspective of a young, male, social media influencer on the changes in the world of fashion and its relation to marketing strategies and to various platforms.

The name/title of this interview will be HIM in order to emphasise the relevance and to a certain extent curiosity this person and his career represent nowadays.
​
​
We contacted, explained and established everything in person in order to avoid misunderstandings and get an honest response.
It was easier given the interview and photoshoot would take place the same day at his apartment.

We asked Horea, a colleague of ours, to be our model for his specific shoot because of his appereance and characteristics which reflect a more mature look and fit with the aesthetic and inspiration for this specific concept.

The gender choice of the model, male, was mainly because in the world of fashion it is more frequent for female personalities to be represented and have a higher level of fame, women such as Aimee Song, so we wanted to analyse and understand this world and topic through a male gaze.

The model chosen isn't in reality and actual social media influencer, given that we aren't able to get in contact with a real one such as
Joan Pala...

Which is why we have decided not to include this photoshoot in the double spread of the magazine given its lack of validity and representation.

COSTS
No spendings were made, given our decision for the shoot to be as genuine as possible.
By the choice of location and props that belonged to the model already.
LOCATION
Given that the concept of this photoshoot was an interview we decided it would be most accurate to try and follow the standard procedures. We opted for it to take place at the apartment of the model, social media influencer, in order for the photos to represent his style and surroundings in an everyday basis.

Following this attempt to realistically represent the set of an interview editorial, we did not photograph the location entirely for pricey matters and respect the individual's space.
​
